Project Manager

Oslo, Norway
Part time
We’re looking for a project manager who is a kind of producer on their own. It’s important to us that you have the passion and skills to make a better branding experience for tech companies and digital products from around the world

About us

We are an early-stage (under 12 months) and growing company working at the intersection of business development, websites, and growth. We help B2B companies grow. Our deliveries span business development, new brand creation, web design and development, and ongoing growth services, often for the same clients across all three areas.

We are a small senior team with long experience, and we have 15 highly trusted partners we bring into different projects when we need extra help.

The role

This is not a coordination role. It is a commercial role, with project management and client relationships as the foundation.

You own accounts from start to finish: from project kick-off, through delivery, and into the ongoing retainer. You keep clients informed and confident, and you actively grow revenue within the client accounts you manage. Our best clients start with a new brand or website and end up in a long-term partnership with various growth activities.

You are the person who takes them through that journey and helps them reach their goals.

Right now, the founders carry all of this: client communication, project management, and account expansion. The plan is for you to take it all over.

This starts as a flexible part-time engagement (2–3 days/week), with a clear path to full-time as the company and client base grows. Compensation includes a base salary plus commission on growing accounts.

Note: There will be no fixed working hours, so this requires that you have a lot of energy, are highly structured, and have the ability to jump on a call here and there, as well as respond to client messages, often during normal working hours but also outside of them.

What will your day-to-day look like?

→ Owning daily client communication across all active projects and ongoing retainers
→ Often being the main point of contact with clients via Slack, phone, SMS, and email
→ Running client onboarding in our project management tool, setting up and running status meetings, feedback sessions, and project handovers
→ Acting as a translator between clients and our senior designers and developers
→ Keeping both sides clear and unblocked so we can deliver on projects
→ Ensuring we have sufficient resources to deliver projects
→ Managing timelines, deliverables, and scope across concurrent projects
→ Converting project clients into retainer clients, identifying the right moment, building the case, and closing the conversation
→ Proactively growing existing accounts by uncovering new needs and suggesting relevant services before the client thinks to ask
→ Reporting on growth retainer performance, gathering data from Google Ads and Search Console into clear, client-friendly updates
→ Spotting risks early and raising them before they turn into problems
→ Keeping the Client Director updated on what matters, without needing them in every conversation

Who is our dream hire?

→ 3+ years in an account management or client service role, preferably at a brand, design, or digital agency where you shared responsibility for project management and active sales
→ A proven track record of growing accounts, not just maintaining them. You have converted projects into retainers, sold in additional services, and expanded client relationships over time
→ You have led both project-based work (branding, web projects) and ongoing retainers, you understand how different they feel and how to navigate the transition between them
→ You are comfortable having commercial conversations with senior stakeholders in B2B companies – not “pitching”, but identifying needs and confidently proposing solutions
→ You don’t need to be a designer or developer, but you must be genuinely curious about the work and able to speak about it intelligently
→ Some knowledge of Google Ads and Google Search Console – you don’t need to run campaigns, but you should be able to read the data, understand what it tells you, and explain it to a client without resorting to jargon

You are a clear, confident communicator in writing, in meetings, and in a Loom update at 4pm on a Friday

You stay calm when projects get messy and help others do the same

Fluent in Norwegian or Swedish; English is also required as we have several clients in the US and often collaborate with our team members in English.

Big plus if you have

→ Experience working with B2B brands or growth companies
→ Hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns or doing SEO work, byou can go deeper than just reporting when needed
→ Familiarity with tools like Notion, Linear, Bonsai, Figma, Webflow or similar
→ Experience from a small studio or agency where everyone wears multiple hats

What can we offer you?

To be completely honest, we can’t promise the world, but what we can offer is an extremely steep learning curve with meaningful work and a role that can grow. Since we’re not even 1 year old yet, we’re not the right fit for everyone.

Base compensation will be in line with the industry average based on experience, plus commission on retainers you bring in or expand, your upside is directly tied to how well you grow accounts. We don’t want you to push new services and products on clients, only where we know it will truly help them. So if you help sell this in, you should also get a percentage of it.

Real ownership of the commercial relationship with clients, not just coordination, but actual responsibility

Exposure to the full breadth of a modern studio: brand, web, and B2B growth

A small, senior team that respects your time and doesn’t have unnecessary meetings

Flexible, remote-friendly work, we care about outcomes, not hours (many of our partners move around a bit within Europe)

A clear path from part-time to full-time as the studio grows

What does the hiring process look like?
