About us
We are an early-stage (under 12 months) and growing company working at the intersection of business development, websites, and growth. We help B2B companies grow. Our deliveries span business development, new brand creation, web design and development, and ongoing growth services, often for the same clients across all three areas.
We’re looking for a Lumos-first Freelance Webflow Developer who can take polished designs and bring them to life in Webflow with precision and craft. This is a hands-on development role. You’ll be responsible for building responsive, CMS-driven Webflow sites that are clean, fast, and ready to scale — translating designs from Figma into production-ready builds that work flawlessly across devices.
We need someone who takes pride in how things are built — from class naming and CMS architecture to performance, SEO, and the full launch process. If you care about the technical details, enjoy working with B2B brands, and want to be part of a studio that values quality over volume, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
- Build and launch responsive, pixel-perfect websites in Webflow using the Lumos framework, including CMS-driven pages, dynamic collections, and reusable components.
- Translate high-fidelity Figma designs into clean, accurate Webflow builds that are true to the designer’s intent.
- Create polished Webflow interactions and animations that enhance the user experience without compromising performance.
- Architect and structure Webflow CMS collections, dynamic content, and workflows for large-scale projects that are intuitive for clients to manage.
- Extend Webflow beyond its native capabilities using custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript where needed.
- Set up API integrations, Zapier/Make automations, and third-party tools within the Webflow ecosystem.
- Own the full launch process — from staging to production — including site migrations, SEO redirects, DNS configuration, and go-live checklists.
- Optimise sites for performance, SEO, and accessibility, ensuring fast load times and clean, semantic structure.
- Prepare clean, well-organised Webflow projects with consistent naming conventions, style guide usage, and maintainable class structures.
- Collaborate with our designers and strategists to ensure builds align with each client’s visual identity and business goals.
- Contribute to internal standards, best practices, and studio-wide development guidelines.
- Iterate on builds based on feedback, working through revisions efficiently while maintaining quality.
What You Should Have
- Professional experience as a Webflow developer — with a portfolio of live builds that demonstrate clean, scalable work.
- Advanced Webflow skills including CMS collections, responsive design, interactions and animations, and component-based builds using the Lumos framework.
- A solid understanding of responsive design principles and how to build for all screen sizes.
- Strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — enough to extend Webflow beyond its native features when a project calls for it.
- Strong knowledge of SEO best practices — from technical SEO and site structure to on-page optimisation and analytics tools.
- A solid understanding of the full website launch process — including site migrations, SEO redirects (301s, URL mapping), DNS configuration, and go-live checklists. You should be comfortable owning the technical side of a launch from staging to production.
- The ability to read and faithfully interpret Figma designs, understanding spacing, typography, and layout decisions without needing to design yourself.
- Experience working with B2B companies is a strong plus.
- The ability to work independently, manage your own time, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
- Comfort working remotely and asynchronously with a distributed team.
- Proficiency with GSAP for building custom animations, scroll-based triggers, and timeline-driven motion beyond what Webflow’s native interactions offer.
- Strong understanding of CSS animations and transitions — comfortable writing performant keyframe animations, easing functions, and hardware-accelerated transforms.
- Experience using AI tools to enhance development workflows — such as Claude, Cursor, or similar.
Nice to Have
- Experience with animation libraries such as OSMO Supply or similar to create rich interactions beyond Webflow’s native capabilities.
- Understanding of conversion rate optimisation and how development decisions impact lead generation and performance.
- Experience with AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) — structuring content and markup so sites surface well in AI-driven search results and answer engines, not just traditional SEO.
- Experience with Barba.js for seamless page transitions and creating smooth, app-like navigation experiences within Webflow sites.
About Us
We’re a fast-growing, multidisciplinary team that spans business development, design, 3D, and creative development. We believe in long-term relationships — with our clients and with the people we work with. We put the person first, and believe the best work comes from good communication, empathy, and being kind and clear with each other. We understand that truly great work is about mixing business outcomes with creative output — it’s never black and white. We always hold both in mind, and that’s what fuels our curiosity and makes us push the boundaries.
How to Apply
Send your portfolio and a brief introduction to moe@ish.studio. Please include examples of live Webflow builds you’ve developed. We’d love to see how you approach structure, performance, and the build process.
If you find yourself short on any of the above, don’t be afraid to get in touch. We value continuous learning and ability more than any set list of must-haves — and we’d love to talk to you.
If we don’t get back to you, please don’t feel discouraged. We often receive more applications than we can handle, but we’ll do our best to respond to everyone.
